The Discretionary Overdraft is standard on all checking accounts. Peoples Bank Discretionary Overdraft Protection Program (“ODP”) will charge the account a $25.00 per-item fee for overdrafts created by check, in-person withdrawal, ATM withdrawal, or other electronic means. If you do not restore your overdrawn account to a positive balance within 30 days, your participation in the ODP program may be terminated. Whether your overdrafts will be paid is discretionary and we reserve the right not to pay. For example, we typically do not pay overdrafts if your account is not in good standing, or you are not making regular deposits, or you have too many overdrafts.

* $0 Liability Fraud Coverage applies only if: you exercise reasonable care against the loss or theft of your card; your account is open, in good standing; and you have not reported two or more incidents of unauthorized use in the preceding 12 months. You must notify us of the unauthorized transaction within 60 days of the date that the statement reflecting the transaction was mailed or made available to you. The protection does not apply to PIN-based transactions at a Peoples Bank branch, or to business and other non-personal cards and accounts.
